In its early years, Sagamore built its reputation by sourcing and blending exceptional rye whiskey, making their recognition as one of Whisky Advocate's Most Exciting Whiskies of 2025 for Batch 1A, both a milestone release and a nod to Sagamore's beginnings.

This Maryland-style rye whiskey reflects the blending approach that has defined Sagamore from the start, combining a bold high-rye mash bill with a softer, sweeter rye recipe. The additional years in the barrel bring greater depth and oak influence while maintaining the balance of spice and sweetness that fans have come to expect. Bottled at 110.8 proof, it's a tremendous whiskey with big proof and plenty of flavor.
